We are a travel loving family of 5. Our family consists of mom, dad, a son, and two daughters. We have chosen to homeschool our kids and believe that travel is a vital educational experience.

We live just 20 minutes away from some of the best skiing, mountain hiking, and natural scenic beauty that the world has to offer. When we’re not traveling, you can often find us enjoying everything that the great outdoors of Utah has to offer as a family. Whether skiing fresh powder runs in the winter or exploring new wilderness trails and national parks in the summer, we love staying active amidst gorgeous mountain views.

Our family also has a passion for learning about new cultures, languages and cuisines across the globe. We feel some of the best education we can provide is through the incredible experiences gained from travel. So far, we have been fortunate to visit Mexico, Greece, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Bolivia and Guatemala as a family. With each destination, we immerse ourselves in local culture – visiting markets, learning basic language phrases, watching traditional dance and music, and letting the kids experience new foods and customs first-hand. We believe exploring the world together as a family is the best education we can offer. The kids have learned to understand people for who they are, respecting the diversity of their history and culture. We hope to raise globally-minded kids focused on human goodness.

Back at home, mom and the kids love tending to our garden together. Actually, let’s be real, Mom and Dad love it and the kids are learning to love it! The kids actually do take great pride in planting, nurturing and harvesting fruits, vegetables and herbs. And mom loves finding new recipes to implement our garden-grown produce into home cooked family meals.

Above all else, our adventures – whether close to home or abroad – allow us to appreciate God’s majestic creations together and strengthen the love of God, family and country. We look forward to documenting many more travel memories and outdoor pursuits to come!
